FRESHNESS & STORAGE

Cookies:

Keep each cookie individually sealed until you are ready to decorate. Store the cookies in a cool, dry place away from heat, humidity, direct sunlight, and liquids. Once opened, place them in an airtight container.

When properly sealed and stored, the cookies are best enjoyed within approximately 3–4 weeks. Do not refrigerate the cookies.

Royal icing:

If you are not decorating immediately, place the sealed icing bags inside an airtight container or zip-top bag and refrigerate them for up to four weeks from the preparation date.

Approximately one hour before decorating, remove the icing bags from the refrigerator and allow them to reach room temperature while remaining sealed. Gently massage each bag until the icing becomes smooth and evenly mixed.

For the best decorating experience, follow the DIY instructions included with your kit.
