FRESHNESS & STORAGE

Cookies: Keep the cookies individually sealed until you are ready to use them. Store them in a cool, dry place away from heat, humidity, direct sunlight, and liquids. Once opened, place them in an airtight container. When properly sealed and stored, the cookies are best enjoyed within approximately 3–4 weeks. Do not refrigerate.

Royal icing: If you will not use the icing immediately, keep the sealed icing bags inside an airtight container or zip-top bag in the refrigerator for up to four weeks from the preparation date.Approximately one hour before decorating, remove the icing bags from the refrigerator and allow them to reach room temperature while still sealed. Gently massage each bag until the icing is smooth and evenly mixed. Follow the DIY cookie decorating instructions included with your kit for the best results.
